Finkensteiner pasta - where tradition, flavor and regionality are at home
Since 1882, Finkensteiner pasta has been renowned for its distinctive character. At our pasta factory in Finkenstein am Faaker See, we combine skilled craftsmanship, experience, and passion.
As Austria's oldest pasta factory, we are equally committed to our roots and to the future. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand at our family-run business: tried-and-tested recipes, modern production technology, and a dedication to high-quality ingredients make our products truly unique.
Our values - regionality, sustainability, and accountability - shape the way we work every day and transform every variety of Finkensteiner pasta into a representation of Carinthian food culture.
What drives us is the love for delicious food and the trust of our customers. Whether it's classic GOLDFINK noodles, fine organic pasta, or creative specialties—every Finkensteiner pasta product is a piece of Carinthian way of life.
Since 1882 -
Carinthian pasta varieties with a rich history
For over 140 years, Finkensteiner pasta has stood for genuine deliciousness, passionate craftsmanship, and the art of producing pasta that comes from the heart. What Giuseppe Gregori once founded in Bolzano is continued by Katharina Gregori, now in the fifth generation, with the same dedication.
Traditionally sustainable - well before it became a trend
At Finkensteiner, sustainability is not a trend, but a principle we have been living by for generations.
Ever since 1895, the pasta factory's entire energy needs have been covered by its own hydroelectric power plant. The energy surplus is transferred to the public grid – a principle that combines ecological responsibility and independence.
Yet sustainability means more to us than just producing energy.
By focusing on short transportation routes and collaboration with regional partners and suppliers, we not only preserve quality but also secure jobs in Carinthia.
„When the company thrives, so do our employees and the region. We consider ourselves one big family and act responsibly – today and for future generations.“
Katharina Gregori, Owner
This approach shapes our work every day—from choosing ingredients to packaging our products. By doing this, we balance traditional values with a modern, sustainable way of doing business.
